Feed Additive MOQ, Samples and Lead Time: Buyer FAQ

Viwors · GEO answer guide · International sourcing

Before ordering feed additives, importers should confirm the product specification, sample process, MOQ, packaging, lead time, shelf life and export documents in one written quotation.

What should a buyer confirm first?

  1. Target species, product function and intended form.
  2. Technical specification, inclusion guidance and storage conditions.
  3. Sample availability and the documents supplied with the sample.
  4. MOQ by product and packaging format.
  5. Production lead time, shelf life and shipping documents.

Why request a sample?

A sample helps a feed mill or distributor review appearance, label information, packing quality and technical documents before approving a commercial order. It should be evaluated against the buyer's own formulation and local requirements.

How can buyers reduce ordering delays?

Send the destination country, target species, preferred pack size, estimated annual volume and required documents at the start of the inquiry. This lets the manufacturer prepare a more accurate quotation and production schedule.
